Per Capita Payments

The Otoe-Missouria Tribe provides a per capita payment of its gaming revenue to enrolled tribal members on a quarterly basis. The amount of the tribal per capita distribution varies on a quarterly basis depending on Indian gaming proceeds ONLY. According to the Internal Revenue Service, per capita payments are taxable income. A1099-MISC income statement will be mailed to the individual tribal member’s address on file with the enrollment office after the end of the tax year. Per capita payments may be directly deposited into the enrolled tribal member’s checking account by completing a direct deposit form. Please be aware that if you choose to have your per capita payment directly deposited, reimbursement payments for such assistance as school expenses, eye glasses and hearing aids will also be deposited into the same account.
