Services

The Otoe-Missouria Counseling Behavorial Health Services offers a wide range of services including individual therapy, family and couples therapy, group therapy and Substance Abuse Counseling. We know how important it is to preserve the Native American community. Typical individual sessions last 53 Minutes with a Licensed Professional Counselor.

We are also able to provide Substance Abuse Assessment to Tribal Members and/or Native Americans within our 50 mile radius with a CDIB card and a Court Order. The specific Assessment provided is an A.S.I. (Addiction Severity Index). To be eligible for this serve, the participant must provide their court ordered paperwork and fill out the proper paperwork. A future appointment will be set up for the Assessment.

Eligibility:

Currently we service enrolled Native Americans residing within a 50 mile radius of our office and any enrolled Otoe-Missouria Tribal members. We see children, adolescents, adults, and elders either as individuals, groups, families and/or couples.

Getting started:

If someone would like to receive behavioral health and/or substance abuse services, they must establish a chart through the Wellness Center. Therefore, if they do not have a chart, they will need to bring their Tribal membership card, proof of residence, and fill out a health services application. If someone does have a chart established through our health department and would still like to receive behavioral health and/or substance abuse services, then an intake along with other relevant paperwork will need to be completed with one of our counselors to determine what services would best fit their needs.
