The mission of the Health Education program is to provide basic information that encourages community members to become active in the improvement of their health status. Believing that many of the health problems found in Native American communities are the result of behavior and lifestyle choices, the Otoe-Missouria Tribe Health Education program is committed to an emphasis on wellness through health promotion and disease prevention.
