The Public Information OfficeThe ultimate goal of the Public Information Office is to improve communication with tribal members, tribal employees and the greater community.
To that end, the Public Information Office currently produces a quarterly newsletter, which is mailed to all tribal members 18 years of age or over, as well as to key community members and businesses.
In addition, the Public Information Office is responsible for the re-establishment and maintenance of the tribal website. The office also created and maintains the tribe's social media. The tribe has its own Facebook page, Twitter account and YouTube Channel. Links at the top of the page will take you to each medium.
The Public Information Office also coordinates all media on behalf of the tribe and the Tribal Council. The office releases information to the press for various departments, happenings, events and news relating to the tribe, the Otoe-Missouria Police Department and the Tribal Council.Finally, the Public Information Officer acts as an ombudsman for the tribe and as a liaison to Tribal Council on behalf of tribal members and the general public.
