The Otoe-Missouria Tribe Declared an Emergency Proclamation on March 16, 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in response to the United States Presidential Declaration of National Emergency on March 13, 2020. The COVID-19 relief assistance to all tribal members who are experiencing a financial setback that have been impacted by the CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC. 

This assistance is a reimbursement for: school expenses (related to education including: clothes, fees, books, supplies, instrument purchase/rental, school lunches, lab fees, sports activity fees and passes, graduation gowns/announcements, class rings, uniforms and any other expenses approved by the Education Committee), WIFI services for distance learning, electronic(s) that had to be purchased for distance learning (i.e. printer, laptop, computer, headphones), any other accessories for distance learning (i.e. desk, paper, desk lamps, computer chairs).

• Amount of Assistance: $250
• Eligibility time period: July 1 through December 30, 2020 ONLY
• Documentation Required: Completed COVID-19 Relief Assistance Application & Receipts & School Schedule (students 18 years of age and older much provide class schedule)
• Assistance must directly benefit the applicant
